SHIPPING POLICY

The Beer God delivers eligible products throughout Ireland and to selected European Union destinations. Collection is also available from our premises in Portlaoise.

DISPATCH

Orders placed before 12 noon from Monday to Thursday are normally prepared for dispatch that day, subject to:

• Stock availability
• Successful payment
• Age or identity checks
• Delivery restrictions
• Operational capacity

This is a dispatch target and not a guaranteed delivery time.

Orders placed after the cut-off, from Friday to Sunday, or on a public holiday will normally be processed on the next available working day.

Busy periods, promotions, adverse weather, transport disruption or circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause delays.

DELIVERY WITHIN IRELAND

Irish orders are generally delivered using An Post or another suitable provider.

Available delivery services, charges and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.

Delivery estimates begin after dispatch and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated. Tracking details will be supplied where available.

EUROPEAN UNION DELIVERY

Alcohol, accessories and glassware may be delivered to selected EU destinations where the relevant product and destination are enabled at checkout.

Not every product can be delivered to every country.

Cross-border alcohol orders may be subject to destination-specific excise, tax, licensing, carrier and age-verification requirements.

We may request additional information or cancel and refund an order where we cannot process or deliver it lawfully.

DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges are calculated using the products, parcel size, weight, destination and selected service.

The applicable charge is displayed before payment.

Any promotion offering free or reduced-price delivery is subject to its stated conditions.

ALCOHOL AND AGE VERIFICATION

Alcohol may only be purchased and received by someone who meets the legal minimum age in the destination.

For Irish orders, the purchaser and recipient must be at least 18.

Proof of age or identity may be requested before dispatch, at delivery or collection.

An order may be refused, returned or cancelled where age, identity or eligibility cannot be established.

Please wait until you receive confirmation that the order is ready before travelling.

The person collecting may be asked to provide:

• The order confirmation
• The customer name or order number
• Photographic proof of identity and age

Collection times should be arranged or confirmed in advance.

DELIVERY ADDRESSES

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate address, Eircode or postcode, email address and telephone number.

Contact us immediately if an address is incorrect. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after processing or dispatch begins.

Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, refusal of an eligible delivery or failure to collect a parcel may be charged where legally permitted.

MISSED DELIVERIES

The delivery provider may leave instructions, attempt redelivery or direct the parcel to a collection point.

Customers should follow the carrier’s tracking and collection instructions.

If an order is returned after unsuccessful delivery, redelivery may require payment of an additional charge unless the failure was caused by us or the delivery provider.

DELAYS AND LOST PARCELS

If tracking has not updated or an order has not arrived within the estimated period, contact info@thebeergod.net.

We may need to complete the carrier’s investigation process before issuing a replacement or refund.

This does not affect applicable consumer rights where goods are not delivered within an agreed or legally required period.

DAMAGED PARCELS

If a parcel or product arrives damaged, photograph:

• The exterior of the parcel
• The delivery label
• The internal packaging
• The damaged product

DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS

We do not deliver products to destinations where they cannot legally or safely be supplied.

We may restrict alcohol, pressurised products, heavy equipment, glassware or other products based on carrier rules, local law or operational limitations.
